Sun Metro Detours Nine Routes for NorthEaster Parade

El PASO, Texas – The annual NorthEaster Parade will require Sun Metro to detour nine routes and temporarily relocate the Northeast Transit Terminal beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2018.

The detour is expected to last until 12:30 p.m., depending on the length and pace of the parade.

Sun Metro drivers will make courtesy stops along the detoured routes as required and Sun Metro supervisors will be monitoring the area for any passengers needing assistance.

Route 7 Norhteast / Mission Valley
Buses traveling outbound, east on Diana will turn left onto Dyer, right onto Wren, left onto Shoppers Road servicing the boarding area on east side of Shoppers Road, right onto Sanders continuing to Railroad and returning to the regular route.

Buses traveling inbound from the boarding area on Shoppers will turn left onto McCombs, left onto Wren, right onto Shoppers, left onto Sanders, left onto Dyer, right onto Diana returning to the regular route.

Route 35 Northgate via Dyer
Buses traveling outbound, northeast on Dyer will turn right onto Wren, left onto Shoppers servicing the boarding area on east side of Shoppers Road.

Buses traveling inbound, east on Shoppers Road will pick up or drop off passengers then turn left onto Sanders, left onto Dyer returning to the regular route.

Route 40 North Hills via Rushing
Buses traveling outbound will make a left onto Sanders, left onto Dyer, left onto Wren, left onto Roanoke returning to the regular route.

Buses traveling inbound from Roanoke will turn right onto Wren, right onto Shoppers Road servicing the boarding area east side of Shoppers Road.

Route 41 Northgate via Piedras
Buses traveling outbound from Mt. Latona will turn right onto Hercules, right onto Dyer, right onto Wren, left onto Shoppers servicing the boarding area on east side of Shoppers Road.

Buses traveling inbound will make a left onto Sanders, left onto Dyer, left onto Hercules, left onto Mt. Latona returning to the regular route.

Route 42 Northeast Connector
Buses traveling outbound, east on Hondo Pass will turn left onto Dyer, right onto Wren, servicing the boarding area on the east side of Shoppers Road.

Buses traveling inbound from Shoppers Road will pick up or drop off passengers east side of Shoppers Road then turn left onto Sanders, left onto Dyer, right onto Hondo Pass returning to the regular route.

Route 43 Shearman Park via Dyer
Buses traveling outbound from Shoppers Road will turn left onto Sanders, right onto Dyer returning to the regular route.

Buses traveling inbound, southwest on Dyer will turn left onto Wren, left onto Shoppers Road servicing the boarding area on east side of Shoppers Road.

Route 44 Sean Haggerty via McCombs
Buses traveling outbound from Shoppers Road will turn right onto Sanders, right onto Roanoke, right onto Joe Herrera, left onto Hollings returning to the regular route.

Buses traveling inbound, north on Hollings will turn right onto Joe Herrera, left onto Roanoke, left onto Wren, right onto Shoppers Road servicing the boarding area.

Route 45 Transmountain / EPCC Circulator
Buses traveling outbound from Shoppers Road will turn left onto Sanders, left onto Dyer, right onto Diana returning to the regular route.

Buses traveling inbound, southeast on Diana will turn left onto Dyer, right onto Wren, left onto Shoppers Road servicing the boarding area on the east side of Shoppers Road.

Route 46 Northeast Circulator / Rushing
Buses traveling outbound from Shoppers Road will turn left onto Sanders, left onto Dyer, right onto Diana returning to the regular route.

Buses traveling inbound, west on Joe Herrera will turn right onto Roanoke, left onto Wren, right onto Shoppers Road servicing the boarding area.
