I-10 Accident Delays Sun Metro Routes
Due to the accident at I-10 and Stanton overpass, the following routes will continue detouring: 14, 15, 33, 34, 35, 36, 42, 50, 59 and Mesa Brio. All affected routes, as well as other Sun Metro routes traveling in and out of the Central and Downtown El Paso area are expected to see MAJOR SERVICE DELAYS due to traffic congestion.
Sun Metro staff will monitor the impacted areas and assist as necessary. Drivers will make courtesy stops as required. Detours are subject to change due to traffic conditions.
Beginning 11.2.15, The outbound bus stop at the Racetrack exit will be temporarily inactive due to the closure of Paisano off ramp. Please use alternate (inbound) stop for both directions, as indicated above. For information on service to the Buena Vista area, see our Closures Page. Beginning 11.2.15, The bus stops along McNutt from Paisano to Racetrack Dr. will be temporarily inactive due to the closure of McNutt off ramp.
